Acolyte Guild

The Acolyte Guild assists the clergy and other leaders of the liturgies of the church. Acolytes lead processions and recessionals, take part in the reading of the gospel as well as many other aspects of worship and liturgy.

The  Acolyte Guild’s Role

Their  presence at the Lord’s table is especially important  as they assist the clergy in preparing the table  for Holy Eucharist. They play special roles on other sacramental celebrations such as Baptisms, Confirmations and Ordinations as well as special occasions such as the visit of the Bishop of the Diocese.

Goal 1: TO INCREASE ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP BY 20% ANNUALLY
Activities

  1. Organize Retreats annually for teaching purpose

  2. Improve Acolyte Year End Fellowship financially & morally

  3. Recognize hard working acolytes

  4. Improve on the number of trainers (at least two)

  5. Provide breakfast for acolytes who attend both services


Goal 2: TO RECRUIT 200 NEW MEMBERS BY 2018.
Activities

  1. Support the plans of the Evangelism Committee


Goal 3: DOUBLE FINANCIAL INTAKE IN ONE YEAR AND SUBSEQUENTLY INCREASE AT LEAST BY 25%.
